How it works

From virtual brand to bag, without switching screens

We put the brands on the apps your customers already use. Every order lands on the Food Manager tablet, and a ticket prints in the kitchen. The customer only sees the brand they picked.

  1. 01

    The storefronts go live

Uber Eats, DoorDash and SkipTheDishes send every order, from every brand, to Food Manager.

Each brand has its menu on Uber Eats, DoorDash and SkipTheDishes. We connect those storefronts to Food Manager. Nothing changes for the person placing the order.

  2. 02

    One screen

Everything shows on the tablet we supply, colour-coded by brand, with the time left.

Each card shows the brand, the app, the items, the options and the notes. A new order flashes the screen, and the chime repeats until someone accepts it.

  3. 03

    One printer

The ticket prints as soon as you accept. If the printer does not answer, the tablet tells you.

A Star Micronics kitchen printer with CloudPRNT, plugged into your router. If a ticket does not print, the card says “Print failed — tap to reprint”.

  4. 04

    Done

Tap “Ready”: the app lets the courier know, and the order leaves the screen.

The status goes back to the app. You can also reject an order with a reason (item sold out, kitchen too busy).

Getting started

We launch the brands and set up the kitchen with you. Your old tablets stay until everything has been tested.

  1. 1We define the virtual brands, the menus and the accounts on the apps.
  2. 2We create your kitchen in Food Manager and connect each brand.
  3. 3You open a link on the tablet we supply and tap “Install app”.
  4. 4You plug in the printer; we walk you through connecting it.
  5. 5We place one test order on each app. After that, the rented tablets can go.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a new location or a new team?

No. The brands are cooked in your current kitchen, by your team, with your equipment.

Who owns the brands?

We design them with you so they sell on the apps, and your kitchen cooks them. Your restaurant’s accounts, menus and customers stay yours. On our side, we also run our own brands on the same screen.

Do I have to change my current menus?

No. Your menus, prices and promotions stay in each app. The virtual brands are added. They do not replace them.

What if the internet drops?

The tablet shows a “reconnecting” banner and remembers your taps. They are sent in order as soon as the connection is back.

What hardware do I need?

The Android tablet we supply, and a Star Micronics printer with CloudPRNT (for example the mC-Print3 or TSP143IV). No computer in the kitchen.

Where is my data?

With established hosting providers in North America: the app runs in Toronto and the database is at Neon (AWS, Ohio). Connections are encrypted and we do not sell any data.

Twenty minutes to look at your menu, your apps, and the storefronts that can sit beside them — then the screen that will receive it all.
